My month-old phone is fucking up. It might have been from when I dropped it, it might be from when I got a bit of water splash from: taking pictures standing on the front of a ferry, taking pictures of water spewing out of the Penrith PCYC ceiling, or running around delivering pizza in the pouring rain with it in my pocket.
Either way, it now
randomly stops doesn't detecting the sim card. This might also have been my fault, because the first thing I did with it was shove the sim card in there the wrong way up...
It's still under its warranty period, so I'm going to go back to the rather shady place I bought it from and see what he can do. Until then, I'm having to go back to the old LG that rapes pockets. Yay -_-
edit: actually, not the place I bought it, but the place they pointed me to, some phone repair place in Auburn? Still, THEY'D better fix it... I'll be slightly more than angry if they don't or "can't find anything wrong with it" and/or charge me more than what the phone cost in the first place...
edited edit: minor clarifications and fixings here and there.
Status edit: Handed it into the repair place, was a little flabbergasted when they said it would be ready in two business days, hence MONDAY. Which is a public holiday... so I dunno whut's going on D:. Hopefully they won't deem it as my fault and charge me $25 before handing it back unfixed, that would just piss me off.
More status edit: Well, I checked the online status thing this morning, and it showed the job as completed... Less than a full day, and it's completed can mean only one thing: they didn't fix it. They called me just then as well saying it was ready to be collected, yet didn't mention whether it was fixed or not... orz
